You Could Win Literally Thousands Of Entrecard Credits

Even if you’re not a member of Entrecard, you most likely have come across blogs (including this one) that have generated lots of interest in its community. You may have even found excitement surrounding contests where you can win all sorts of prizes like credits.

The latest in credit-winning contests was conceived by Sense to Save and is probably the largest Entrecard prize you’ll find to date. The responses have been overwhelming what with the credits that have been donated to create prizes totaling 50,000 credits. I’m one of the proud donaters of 1,000 credits and one of the hosts of the contest.

If this is the first time you’ve heard of Entrecard, I’ll explain what it is and how it can help you.

Entercard is a free community where bloggers have submitted their blogs with the intent of gaining more exposure to readers. It’s also a way for members to get to know other blogs that interest them.

As you visit blogs that are members, you may find the unmistakable widget with the yellow button beneath a 125×125 ad tile (look at the sidebar to the right to see my widget). Clicking on that button is the equivalent to dropping your “card”, which will then register in that blog’s inbox. You earn a credit just for doing that simple action.

You can also earn credits when others drop their cards on your blog as long as you display the widget. When you earn enough credits by doing these things, you can then purchase the right to advertise on someone’s blog if they approve it. You have the same control over requests to advertise on your blog.

Now, here are the contest details:

• The giveaway will be held March 15 – April 15.
• Only new users that sign up with Entrecard during this promotional period will be eligible.
• Comment (and include your website URL) at any of the hosting blogs (listed below) on their contest post to receive a contest entry. You can comment one time on each hosting blog to receive one entry each comment.
• A 1st place prize of 34,000 credits will be given randomly to a new user.
• Smaller 2nd place prizes will be given within each Entrecard niche category.

What could you do with so many credits? Well, in addition to advertising on other topic-related blogs that will bring you traffic you might not normally get, you can also spend them on things within the Entrecard shop. There will you find a variety of things that you can purchase with your credits. Things like books, consulting, graphic design, gift certificates, and merchandise just to name a few.
