Simply put, Blue Vertigo is likely to be the last resource you’ll need for:
- stock photography
- fonts
- clip art
- textures
- Photoshop brushes
- sounds (although I didn’t find Soundsnap)
- icons
There are over 1,000 links to such repositories. Some are free, others are paid, but you can at least get to them to find out for yourself if they’re for you or not.
Though it touts itself to be for designers, I’m just a humble blogger who has used it a number of times, to find something fresh. So unleash your inner designer!

I believe in images having a powerful effect on what you write. I usually include screen snips of logos for web services but some times I do look for images to set the tone for the post.

Yeah, every once in a while I think graphics are needed to shake things up a bit. I usually use screenshots, but every now and again, a “real” photo is necessary.
