SponsoredReviews Stands Up For Publishers
-
In case you haven’t heard, SponsoredReviews recently discovered and put a stop to an advertiser using a stolen credit card. This card was to be used to “pay” for a blogger’s time to review sites. The positive thing to come out of this whole ordeal is the way SponsoredReviews stepped up to the plate and took immediate action. Not just with informing their users via email or on their account, but they also commented on BobMeetsWorld.
I was one of the bidders on some of these bogus review attempts. My bid was almost immediately accepted, which in retrospect tells me the thieves were in a hurry to use up their stolen goods before they were caught. Thankfully, I was notified before I spent my time on them. Other bloggers, however, already wrote their reviews.
But rather than leaving these publishers empty handed, SponsoredReviews will be paying them what they were owed. Says Jarrod of SponsoredReviews,
…it is our responsibility as a company to protect our bloggers from these incidents.”
I find it admirable the way they corrected matters so quickly and stopped the bleeding. Clearly, they understand what it means to do the right thing even when it means doing the right thing for others.

That’s pretty good. I was thinking of applying but I noticed that they only pay through paypal for the moment.

Lol nope. PayPal in the Philippines is only good for sending money. They’re not able to receive money. Go figure lol.
