OK, Friday was a disaster.

Not really, but starting on Thursday night things just kinda fell apart. My youngest got into a fender bender Thursday night. Nobody was hurt, but I ran up to Richmond to help him get everything taken care of (plus reassure his mom that her baby was really OK.) Friday morning I had to unexpectedly run to my attorney’s office. We spent much of the day going over an urgent contract.

Needless to say I didn’t get the work done yet on the website Average Joe and I are putting together for you. It looks like it will pre-launch to you all tomorrow (fingers crossed.)

Long title, but important point.

I know many people who have already “made it” online. By “made it” I mean making over $100,000.00 per year online. Most of them are working very little–a dozen hours a week, 25-30 weeks a year.

I also know many people who are just starting out and haven’t started making any real money yet.

But I have noticed something a little distressing: Those who haven’t yet succeeded are often working at their online business in a “hit-or-miss” fashion, as if they already had a large, well-oiled and profitable internet business going.

While it is possible to succeed with little or no effort occasionally, to reach the $100,000.00 per year or higher level almost always takes a serious amount of effort. Nobody is going to hand you $100K per year for doing nothing.

Right now Joe “Average Joe” Swopes and I are putting together a new website where you will learn three primary things:

I just put up a new site where I am attempting to get listed on Google quickly. This post is to test similar topic posts and see if an existing site (like FullTiltBlogging.com) will get new content spidered and listed more quickly than a new site.

Fun Home Theater is a site developed to target home theater keywords. While I know it will eventually get spidered and listed, I am hoping I can get it listed in just a few hours using a “super-secret” (but perfectly legal) tactic.

So, now we’ll see.
