Rankings Improving
Well, I’m not in the habit of bragging, but it appears to be an accepted practice to inform visitors of how well (or not so well) one’s blog is doing. It would seem the end goal would be to validate their time on a blog that’s worth coming to, and if Alexa and Technorati are any judge, then who am I to argue?
Alexa
In just 10 days, my Alexa ranking has gone from 818,068 to 537,446.
Technorati
I haven’t recorded the days, but my “authority” has risen to 55, with 35 fans.
Google PR
Still at 3, but it’s my understanding that that’s not too shabby given that MAMD is less than 90 days old.
I would like to have seen an increase in my RSS subscriptions, but they continue to be at 22. I’ve been fortunate to have made the list on some blogs for the feed train. I surmise, however, that some people just posted the links without subscribing?
No worries. I’m very thankful for what I’ve accumulated so far and have all my visitors to thank for that.

- Will MAMD Break The 10K Technorati Barrier?: Fingers are crossed, favors have been called in, and I dropped a roll of quarters into the neighborhood wishing well. Looks like MeAndMyDrum is just...

That’s a big jump in Alexa rank. You know I think you’re right about the feed train. I think most people subscribe to just one or two on the list.

Thanks, Baron.
You know, I must admit that for a few days after posting the feed train list on my blog, I realized that I, too, forgot to subscribe. I quickly corrected the error though.

Nice! That’s pretty darn good for such a young blog
My rankings fluctuate a lot. Some days I’m really happy with them. other days not so much. I’m finally starting to see more people link to my comic site or post about it though without even begging them, so that makes me happy
I need to spend more time investigating where to promote sites that are more about art than making money. But then that means I’d have less time to draw and create content, so it’s a bit of a catch 22 ;P

Hehe…just noticed something. Apparently, the RSS Subscription Fairy paid me a visit overnight. Subscriptions were at 22, now they’re 31. Woo-hoo!

Mark, would you happen to know where that Subscription Fairly lives? I just want to ask her something heh.

Oops I meant Fairy eheh.
