Pass The Time With Hotcorn

  • Ever had online popcorn? I hadn’t until today and it was quite satisfying.

Hotcorn gameHotcorn is a game where you pop as much of the popcorn kernels you can in the time allotted. You play the role of the hot sun. You move your cursor over the screen to make those babies pop. Sounds easy, but the clock ticks fast so you must do the same.

Watch out for sticky butter and dangerous water. Those are never a good combination with popcorn.

 Looks pretty cool man! I guess now, the only thing missing for me is the time to play.

  2. @Garry: yeah, it has the right balance between challenge and entertainment.

Just in time to start the week! Nothing more obscene than being productive haha.

  4. @Baron: I just couldn’t bear the thought of you doing something productive, so I had to find a distraction for ya.

I had my own real life popcorn game last night when I decided to make popcorn the old fashioned way. I put too much in the pot and there was hot popcorn flying everywhere…and even a small fire! It was pretty entertaining. Good training for Hotcorn, lol.

    You know, Christy….

Don’t feel bad. That actually is a common thing in our house!

I would have loved to see a video of that

  8. @Christy: Yikes! Sounds like some pretty intense preparation work for the game. Glad to hear it worked out all right though.

Thanks a lot. This is way too addictive. It’s odd, but for all the fancy, involved games that exist, sometimes it’s the simple ones that get you hooked. Bejeweled was practically my downfall when it came out years ago.
