New Digs’em WordPress Theme
There’s no rest for Garry Conn, a.k.a. The Blog Father. He’s one of the busiest and most helpful guys I’ve had the pleasure of meeting on the Web. In addition to providing tips on how to make money online, he’s quite the guru on how to improve your blog’s rank in the search engines as well.
His latest venture? Creating a new WordPress theme called Digs’em. It has Google Adsense ads built right in, so all you have to do is insert your Adsense publisher ID.
Garry’s knowledge of how Google works is also something built right into the theme because it’s specifically designed to be SEO-friendly. What do I mean by that? There’s not a lot of clutter for the spiders to go through before they get to your content. That’s important SEO-wise.
Other features include:
- Fast loading and clean design
- Digg submit button included on the home page for each post and on individual post pages
- Breadcrumb at the top of each post
- Right sidebar
- Google Adsense ads are not in an obnoxious place
BONUS!!
Garry has also started publishing ebooks at an extremely reasonable price. For just $6.95 you can download his tips on how to optimize your post titles to make them more SEO-friendly.
Why is that important?
As you’ll find out in the ebook, if you’re focus is to increase your search engine rankings, it’s important to have your post titles be as close to what a person would search on. But that’s only part of it. Some blog themes are designed more for looks and functionality, which is good, but doesn’t make for good spider food. Garry shows you how to make some simple yet very effective adjustments to your blog that will help it show up higher in search results. He even provides the code for you!

I heard that, too, but it’s only a ploy to have us think he’s human.
