MyBlogLog Responds With Opt-out
Well, it was this time last week that MyBlogLog released their community messaging feature that sparked a fire from their members. MBL promised to consider the feedback over this past week before making a decision on which way to go.
True to their word, MBL did just that and responded with the Community Message Opt-out setting.

To access this setting, just login to your MBL account and go to Edit Profile. Scroll all the way down and you’ll find it.
BONUS:
You may find the new Services page a bit interesting, too. It’s meant to have you store all your social networking profiles under one roof. You can also find this in Settings.

I promptly opted out when I saw it last night
I didn’t even notice the services page though. I guess I should go fill that out so people can properly stalk me

It’s good to see that they did listen to all of us users and change the system. However, the “services” page isn’t quite perfect just yet; it won’t accept a blogger profile page that is all numbers (and I think that all of them are), or last.fm profiles with underscores in them.
However, I have earned some confidence in them, so I expect that they’ll get it sorted in a short time.
