Leaving Tips With ScratchBack

  • ScratchBack: monetize your blogScratchBack is a method of purchasing links on another person’s blog and do so without being penalized as these links are nofollow.

    As you can see on the right, I’ve placed a new widget that will (hopefully :wink: ) list links to those who have purchased a spot. I’m currently selling those spots for $2 a piece.

    I’ve never been a fan of the “buy me a beer” thing or some variation of it. But with ScratchBack the purchaser is getting a link in return, which makes me feel better about the transaction.

    The widgets come in a variety of colors and if you hurry, you can even get yours customized by sending in the artwork to the ScratchBack team. Just read the details here.

    I’ve seen this on one blog before but I thought it was a personal widget. Seems like a useful plugin too. I’ll give this a peek once my connection stabilzes. Thanks buddy.

    I registered for an account, but I need help customizing the widget to blend with my pink theme :( I don’t have the time nor the skills needed to photoshop the widget, that’s why it isn’t up yet :(

    I first read and heard about this on Garry Conn’s blog. I notice you are a big reader over at his magnificent blog too.

    The guy is a genius, I already implemented some of the traffic ideas that he talked about in one of his recent post.

    By the way, I love your blog, very friendly interface and interesting content.

    I will be keeping an eye on your posts as they appear in your feed ;)

    @John:
    Yes, indeed, I’m a big fan of Garry’s blog. Lots of great information over there. Thanks for the kind words about my blog, too and for taking the time to comment. I always appreciate feedback! :)

    @pelf:
    I don’t know if this will help, but perhaps you could contact the folks at ScratchBack and ask them to modify it for you? One thing that I find surprising is that they don’t offer a way for bloggers to modify the widget easily. Perhaps that will be a forthcoming feature. Thanks for dropping by. :)
