I think its absolutely key for a new blogger to interact with their visitors. The biggest problem I have is how bloggers reply less and less as their blog grows. I have one blogger I use to read on a regular basis, but recently he'll wait 2 to 4 days to reply to comments and only replis to 1 or 2 per post.
