“Iron Man” Played By Downey Jr.?

I never really caught onto the Iron Man comics as a kid, but he did hold my interest somewhat, so there’s a little soft spot I carry for the hero.

When I first heard about who was playing the iconic character in the movie I practically fell on the floor though. Robert Downey, Jr. is the man behind the mask. Yes, the man who went through a rollercoaster period during his hey-day.

Well, some might say that he’s the perfect person for this role given his colored past. And that it parallels Tony Stark’s life. I’ll have to wait and see before I pass judgment on it.
