How To Create Time-Release Links With WhenGuard
-
If you want to delay publication of time-critical information, you should consider using WhenGuard. It’s a first-of-its-kind service that allows you to setup content to be released at a time you specify.Let’s say you’re working on a launch of a new blog and you want to build excitement. In the days leading up to the special day, you could provide readers with a special link (called a jitlink or just in time link) ahead of time that would give them access to it, but only at the time you specify. If they use the link before the time your content is scheduled to be revealed, all they’ll see is a countdown clock.

Or perhaps you are running a contest and you want to keep secret a piece of information that people will get at a certain time. The first person to tell you the secret contents gets the prize.
For you business bloggers out there specializing in selling services or products, you could insert special coupon codes to be had at a predetermined time. Doing so can build excitement, generate interest, and help introduce new readers to what you’re selling. It’s a win-win!

Hm, that’s a pretty cool idea. At first I thought it would be a way to time release links, but I think that’s pretty cool esp for releasing sites. I need to come up with a cool idea like this. (#);)
