How Happy Are You?

In a recent post written by Aaron Abber, he talks about what it means to be happy. For me the typical answers come to mind: wealth, health, friends…blogging. :)

What a powerful thing, this thing called “happiness”. It can drive us to so many destinations, be they physical or a state of mind. And the absence of it can halt us dead on our tracks. Read on and perhaps you’ll discover what it is that make you happy, and you just might find the angle you need when blogging about whatever it is you love to blog about.

You are about to discover the “science of happiness”. At first it may seem strange, but as you read this brief post you will realize you have the opportunity to build a life where personal happiness–and happiness for those you love–is not only available, it is abundant.

Someone passes us on the street or in the mall and says “Hi, how are you?” Our typical response is a programmed “fine” or something similar. But often that response is less than honest. In this case I want you to take a second and consider…

“How Happy Are You?”

It’s a good question to consider.

On FullTiltBlogging.com I teach you how to make money blogging online. And, if you visit here regularly, you probably read because you want to change something in your life.

“You’re Here to Be Happier”

While being rich alone won’t make you happy, the time and life freedom from having a huge, secure, part-time income will go a long way toward making your life happier on almost every level. That’s one of the reasons you are here at Full Tilt.

But you already know that is just a part of the path–happiness isn’t just being well off financially.

So if just having money isn’t the key to happiness, what is?

“Happiness is Being Free from Cares”

Think about the last “crisis” you went through–whether it was a bill you didn’t know how to cover, not enough time for your family, a broken relationship or even guilt over some action you took that wasn’t consistent with your inner personal value system. In each case your happiness was robbed by some pressing concern.

In some cases money does help. But in other cases it takes other types of resources to be happy.

Over the last 25 years I have studied personal happiness and have come up with a multifaceted definition you will find works pretty well…

“How is Happiness Defined”

Happiness can be broken down into little pieces, one for each area of our lives:

  • Financially happiness is having more than enough
  • Mentally happiness is having a mind that is sharp, peaceful and optimistic
  • Physically happiness comes when our bodies are healthy, fit and attractive
  • Spiritual happiness comes when we are living in tune with our personal values and beliefs
  • Family success is when our loved ones are happy and healthy
  • Social success is when we are giving and receiving help, love and encouragement

When all of these come together…

“You Can Have Full Life Success”

Sure there will be trials and bumps along the way, but consistently having these things in your life will consistently make you happy–and if happiness isn’t success, what is?

We buy stuff because we think that stuff will make us happy. We pursue relationships because we believe those relationships will make us happy. We lose weight, discipline our children, invest in the stock market, practice our religious beliefs and even help others because we believe on some level we are fulfilling a personal need.

“You Can Have Help Finding Your Happiness”

All of us need help to pursue our own path to happiness, but many of us have trouble finding people to help.

That changes for you this Friday, June 27th.

Friday I will be opening the doors on Life Focus, the first membership site designed to help you achieve full life success based around the six principles of success above. This will be like nothing you have seen before.

“You Already Know You’re Ready for This”

If you have been online any length of time you’ve already experienced the bad side of pursuing success. You’ve met so-called gurus who were only interested in taking your money. You’ve tried to find people who were concerned about you and found nobody to encourage you. You’ve asked for help from real experts and found no one who was willing or able to help.

You’ve experienced discouragement.

You’re ready for failure and “half-success” to end. Starting Friday you will be able to find a group of people who aren’t just concerned about your finances–though that’s an important piece of your success–they’re concerned about your life, your hopes, your dreams and helping you get there.

“You Begin Learning Torrow”

Starting tomorrow I am going to give you some simple keys to follow in each area of your life to get you ready to be a part of this launch. As you read these simple keys each day you will realize you do have the opportunity for full-life success. You can be the person you have dreamed of being–no matter who that is.

“Be Ready for Friday”

It will cost you exactly $4.95 to check out this site on Friday. You will have complete, unreserved access for two weeks. If it’s not everything I say it is, at least you will get some great freebies. But if it is, can you imagine a more important way to spend five bucks? Yeah, I didn’t think so.

“What to Do Now”

To make sure you are among the first to get invited into the site you need to make sure you are on my personal email list. Just go here and sign up now:

Then come back here each day this week to read the exciting insights into how you can have full-life success yourself. Friday you will get your personal invitation.

  1. I can imagine a more important way to spend five bucks. Like, for instance: if someone breaks into my apartment and says “I’ll kill you unless you give me five bucks.” That’s pretty important.

    I should start carrying cash.
