Get 1 Terabyte Of Storage For Free
-
Just when you think online storage sites have gone as far as they can with giving tons of free space, another one comes setting a new record. I recently came across a place called Oosah that offers 1 TB of storage space. That’s one terabyte. Notice the root “tera” also known as “terra” meaning “Earth” meaning HUGE!Okay, just kidding, but you get the point, right?
Seriously though, this is a service that means business by offering you things like:
- A web-based file manager that’s very intuitive
- Drag-and-drop and keyboard commands
- More sharing options
- Link or embed your content from other sites
- Download your content for burning to CD/DVD
- Hookup to social network accounts: Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, and Picasa
- Create slideshows
Not too shabby.
There’s one other online storage service I found recently (high five to Big Ben Patton) called File Savr. They’re offering a special deal of 250 GB. And if you sign up before September 15, you can get it for free for life!

Wow, what a service. I immediately subscribed. I was looking at some service to back up my photos and now I have (I mean as a plus to my external USB drive)

@Olivier
Glad to have found something helpful to you!

Yeah, it’s amazing, but if I’m not mistaken, I believe disk storage is so cheap these days (at least in bulk), that companies are taking advantage of it.

Very cool. I’m still not sure I fully trust online storage though.

Awesome. I have a few hosting accounts as it is and a great deal I’ve had for years at one company, so I rarely take advantage of any free storage offers. However, getting a Terabyter is starting to make it tempting. lol
Cheers

Wow, that is a LOT of storage for free. I should write about it too. Also, I noticed they have an iPhone interface as well which is very cool. Thanks Mark! Stumbled.

I get nervous about places like this because I always have concerns about these places going out of business. From what I hear, even Google is having trouble with continuing to provide free services such as their Google Notebook. While these are two complete different animals here, I guess the point being is if a company such as Google struggles to keep their fun and free services online, then I am sure places such as Oosah could potentially have near future issues.
