Garry Conn Shifts Focus On Popular Blog

Many of you may already know Garry Conn and the advice he has given to his many readers on a regular basis. As one of my daily reads, he has taught me a lot of things that have influenced the way I blog and the way I develop my strategies for the blogs I run.

One thing that I can safely say about Garry is that he is no stranger to change. I dare say that he even thrives on the stuff. But that’s a benefit because every time he shakes things up, it means that he passes what he’s learned on to you and me. And speaking of shaking things up, he’s got plans to do a whole lot of it on a blog that you may not know about, but you will. It’s called Blog The Internet, a.k.a. Best Deals Online.

Blog The Internet (BTI) is about two-and-a-half years old and has evolved a great deal over that time. As you might expect, it’s a blog about all the deals he finds on the Internet. Most of the traffic it receives is from search engines. It gets around 2,500 to 3,000 visits PER DAY, which is one reason this blog of his has become his most profitable. Case in point, BTI saw a lot of activity last November on Black Friday, resulting in him earning $1,500 in one day. (Yes, this guy knows what he’s doing.)

So what’s the shake-up?

The shake-up will actually start with another popular blog of his, Garry Conn dot com (GCDC). So what was once the place to find tech news, and tips and tricks that help you make money online, will now give way to more personal and family-related content leaving BTI with the responsibility to deliver the daily tips about blogging and such along with the killer deals people have come to know.

When asked, “Why the move?”, Garry said he felt having a blog with his name on it was limiting in a way. “Blog the Internet” has greater potential in its brand-ability. So with the doors opening up to allow more topics to be covered, you can expect to find Blog the Internet to be his flagship blog. And with the success he’s had to date, I predict that will happen before the end of the year.
