Entrecard Shop
Entrecard seems to be doing pretty well for itself and bloggers, too. I make daily visits to my dashboard and periodically have a few ads to review. Then I make it over to the campaign aisle and see if there’s a good place to advertise or at least drop my card.
On my last visit I noticed they had something in their shop that looked interesting. They offer two new features you can buy.

Fast Pass
Like the Fast Pass you may have seen in theme parks, you can buy one of these for the same purpose on a member’s blog for 300 credits. It can only be used once, but it moves you to the head of the queue on the blog you wish to advertise on.
Featured Status
And the next option is Featured Status which is available for 200 credits. This gives you a gold border around your card on entrecard.com. The only benefit I see out of this is for it to make your card more noticeable to other members who are browsing for blogs to advertise on.
What are your thoughts on Entrecard so far?
By the way: if you’re interested in earning more credits, go check out BlogsWeLuv and enter their contest. You could win 300 credits!

EntreCard is great for me so far. I am driving quite a few traffic to my site. What’s more important to me is not the search engine traffic, but people traffic. Some even took the time to say Hi and leave comments. I also get a kick from going through dropped cards in my Inbox and visit their blogs.
I guess EC people go to blog sites and the first thing they do now is look for the EntreCard sign. They leave a card to get points - great idea.

@Rudy
You’re a first-time commenter here. Welcome!
Hehe…actually, I’m beginning to look for that card when I visit other blogs, too. It’s an easy way to grab a credit. I’ve read that some people click from site to site by visiting a blog, clicking on the card to be taken to the blog that’s advertised, then repeat.

I don’t know how well it’s really working for me yet, though I have gotten a few more commentors lately which is nice. I’m not really doing it to build traffic (no way it’d compete with how I do courtesy of search engines), but I”m trying to just build more of a community with it. Get more people traffic as Rudy put it.
My only question about the Fast Pass is what if you use it and then I use it on the same blog. Does the first person still get there first, or do I get to go right past HIM? If so, that’s lame cause then he wasted 300 creds to bump him to the 2nd spot…

It’s been working pretty well for us on the BlogsWeLuv site. Not only have we seen a good bit of traffic, but I’ve also find some really cool blogs in the Entrecard system that I could quite possibly write reviews for on BWL in the future

Haven’t used it/known about it till now; the idea seems really brilliant…like you said if people want to jump the lines in other things, why not advertising.

EntreCard has been sending a consistent flow of traffic to my blog, not those traffic spike as you would get from Digg or StumbleUpon, but a nice steady continuous flow.
Through EC, I’ve discovered some interesting blogs and made some new friends, which I wouldn’t otherwise. I even found a fellow blogger who shares the same birth date with me, date-month-year! Cool!
On a slightly down side, I must say the bounce rate from EC traffic is horribly high. I put it down to most people dropping their cards and exit to the next blog to drop more cards.

@Andrew
My traffic from entrecard has been 278 in a month’s time. That’s more than some of the other sources that bring me traffic that have been more established in my reports. So I think I’ll continue riding this wave to see how it all works out.
That’s a good question about how it’s determine who bumps who. I would hope that you get your credits back if your ad is rejected. I think I remember hearing before that they don’t. Grrr!
@Mike
Yes! That’s what I think is great: seeing other blogs and excellent idea about finding potential BWL reviews. I think I’ll have to do that myself.
@Matt
Give it a shot, Matt. It’s real easy and it can’t hurt.
@betshopboy
Wow, what are the odds of finding someone that way with the same birthday as you? Cool indeed.
