I too like the autonomy. I do what I want and for the most part, when I want. I just love seeing what drives traffic. As of today, for the first time ever, I have received over 1 million hits on my blog. Now these are over all hits, not unique visitors, but you have to admit that it is some kind of a milestone. We will have to see what I am at by the end of the month.
Another thing you linked to was “out of content.” If I am out of “topic” content then I don’t have a problem going with “off topic” content. it mixes it up and I think the readers kind of like that. I know some bloggers say not to do that, but that seems to be coming from the “make money online” crowd.

Hey mark hows it going. Funny huh people love the link building thing, I think sometimes when I post link love or round ups or what ever we want to call that theyre kind of like surveys to see what buttons motivate our readers.
