Drummin’ Up Some Link Love #27

Drummin' Up Some Link Love #27

Here are the latest additions to my Drum Corps, my regular post of interesting blogs on the Net. And awaaay we go!

Dosh Dosh: If you’re looking to break new ground with your blog this year, you should read 16 Effective Strategies to Expand Your Blog’s Reach in 2008. It suggests some ideas you may not have heard of or thought about like cloning your blog.

ShanKri-la: Nice write-up on a cool tool used to watermark your images: Watermark Your Images Online - PicMarkr. It makes it easier to ensure credit stays with your photos should someone choose to use them on their blog.

TechTreak: Here’s something that takes minimal space on your blog while informing your readers of tips you want to share. TechTreak Random Top Ads Plugin v2.0 for Wordpress shows you how you can add a single line of text at the very top of your blog. Maybe it’s a text ad you want to display, a tip, or a brief message. Readers can then click through to the next message. Just click on the link and take a look at the top of the page and you’ll see what I mean.

Blogging Gal: Things are movin’ and shakin’ over at Tish’s new blog (complete with new theme). 10 Tips for Writing an Outstanding Blog Review is a good checklist for when you want to write a review.

Swollen Pickles: I surf the Entrecard wave regularly. It’s a great way to discover new and interesting blogs. (reminder: you can advertise on MeAndMyDrum for 47 credits!). It’s also an interesting way to find how people advertise their blogs using the widget. What’s wrong with this ad? shows just what I mean.
