Before I get started, you’ve no doubt noticed the new theme (if you’re viewing via feed reader, click on over to see what I’m talking about). It’s the OneTheme design and I’m continuing to make modifications. So please bear with me as you might experience a few minor (hopefully) adjustments to be made.
If you’ve never heard of LinkedIn, then it might surprise you to know that it started long before Twitter came into being. It’s a social network for business professionals and is a fantastic way to connect with individuals who share the same interests as you. In fact, I give credit to it helping me get my foot into the door of my last two employers. The Internet is filled with services designed to help make things easier for people, things that they’d do offline, but now can do online. LinkedIn is no different. How many times have you asked a buddy or family member if they know someone at some company you’re interested in working for? Or perhaps you’ve sought a way into a company to do business.
Well, LinkedIn allows you to do this on a level you’ve likely not experienced before!
I’ve been using LinkedIn for several years now and I finally captured my thoughts and tips into this free report that I want to give to you. If you’re already a free subscriber of mine, then I will send this to you shortly. But if you’re not, then take a moment to fill in the form below and download the report PLUS an added bonus on domain secrets I’ve collected over the years.

Your theme rocks. I will be revamping mine within the next couple of months (still working on the other ones) but you have really raised the bar now.

Hey Markie,
Love the new design. It’s professional, but it’s still “you”. Nice mixture.
I’ve heard of Linkdin, but never really done any research on them. Guess I’ll have to check out your report and get more information.
Thanks hon,
Christine

Well hello there Christine!!! Glad you like the theme. Still going through its shake down cruise, but I’m liking it.
I’ve seen lots of writers on LinkedIn. Heck, there might even be a group for writers on LinkedIn, too. There’s one for practically any industry/topic.

I’ve had a LinkedIn account for a couple years now but never really used it. This will help!

LinkedIn is the one social network that I’ve consistently used. Other networks started out “new and shiny”, so I created an account and got into them a little while, only to drop off shortly thereafter. It may be that not all social networks are designed to fit everyone. But for me LinkedIn is one I like.

I like your page. It’s got depth and harmony. Yes, I agree with you that LinkIn is a helpful site, especially to people who are looking for future employees or employers. I’ve been a member of LinkedIn since last year though I’m not looking for a new employer. But I tracked down several old colleagues and classmates of mine. It’s a great place to be–without the clutter

Hi Rosie,
Thanks for the compliment and welcome to MeAndMyDrum!
Glad to hear you like LinkedIn and find the value in it. Yes, I too have found previous colleagues on there as they have found me. Very good place for that sort of thing.
