Day Four Of Thanks

Today I am thankful for the man who helped my wife when her car broke down in a neighborhood not too far away from where we live.

It was raining and she was dropping off one of our children at a friend’s house. As she was driving away, the car decided to take a nap. Thankfully, our friend’s neighbor knew her neighbor was handy with cars, so asked him to take a look.

There he was, in raincoat and hat, hunching under the hood of the car, investigating. A very nice and friendly man, he was.

You don’t see that sort of kindness very much these days.
