Cut Through The Competition With Market Samurai

  • There’s a new product that I’m excited to tell you about. It’s called Market Samurai and it will change the way you do keyword research and help you make money online.

I’ve been toying with it for the past few weeks to get a feel for it. It really does an incredible job aggregating all types of data:

    • On Page Analysis
    • Off Page Analysis
    • Domain Age
    • Page Rank
    • Alexa Rank
    • Page Backlinks
    • Domain Backlinks
    • and more

    Plus, it does things like:

    • Synonyms based on Existing Site Rankings
    • Google Synonym Tool
    • Google Site Keyword Tool
    • Import existing keywords for analysis
    • Add keywords individually
    • Auto-filtering by Search Traffic data
    • Auto-filtering by Adwords data
    • Export Keyword List
    • Negative Keyword Removal Tools
    • and yes, more!

You start out with creating a project that you put keywords into. From there you have a choice of just having Market Samurai analyze those words, or have it suggest a lot more. You pick what you like and throw away the rest. Now you have a list of related keywords that you can start researching to find the ones that you can make money on.

Think about that for a moment. How often have you thought about a keyword, but struggled to find related words or searches? Well, this tool can help with that in a huge way!

How To Create A Website In Minutes

The image above shows just a few words I threw in for example purposes. I then told Market Samurai to analyze them and selected what I was interested in it telling me: total searches, SEO traffic, trends, and Adwords values (see section highlighted in red below).

How To Create A Website In Minutes

I could have selected more options for more information, but I decided to keep it simple here. What these specific items are will be for another time. Notice the export button at the bottom. If you wanted to, you could bring that information into something like Excel and do whatever it is you do in Excel.

You may have already noticed from the picture that there are quite a few more options in the left nav: SEO Competition, Find Content, Promotion, Publish Content, Monetization, and Adwords. Some of these are not available just yet, but they’re continuing to make frequent updates to not only bring you these new features, but also ensure you get the latest and greatest code to work with.

But Mark, how can I get this wonderful piece of software?

Honestly, there’s really so much more this thing can do, but I didn’t want to cram into one post. I’ll be doing future reviews, actually. So hopefully, this has generated some interest for you because there’s a way you can save money in the next few days.

This package is being offered as part of the 30 Day Challenge, which is about to come to a close (they’re at Day 26 as of this writing). It’s free to signup, and while you may be entering late to the party to perform the tasks in the challenge, you can still download this wonderful piece of software for FREE. Once the challenge is over, the tool will be disabled, but you can purchase it now for $69 (regularly it’s $149).

This is not a last minute attempt for me to score a commission on sales. They don’t even have an affiliate program yet! I like providing you with information when it can save you money. So why not try out the product and see if you like it. If you do, go ahead and buy it before the price goes up. I know I will.

Yeah man, I’ve been messing with it and I love it! The best software I’ve personally used man, it’s so rich in features and they are giving a good deal. From my understanding, if you don’t upgrade before it’s disabled…you won’t get all the features, is that correct?

Do you know the date of disabling? Is it based on when you installed it or based on the 30 day challenge?

  2. One thing I like about you Mark is that you are willing to share good finds even without much chance of monetary gain.

Market Samurai is amazing to say the least!

  3. @Normal Joe
If I’m not mistaken, I believe it will be disabled 10 days after the challenge is over. I don’t recall where I read that though. You can always buy the full version, no matter when though.

    @Keith
Thanks for that, buddy! I’m eager to learn the ins and outs of it, especially when they open up the new features.

  4. I’m sketchy on what it expires too…I would assume though it would be 40 days after the download that way those that started late can still get the full effect…but not sure.

I ended up grabbing the full version anyway, I couldn’t pass up the deal. Even though when originally downloading it I filled out a survey for a “chance” to win a copy for free. The contest draw date has come and passed and I haven’t heard a peep. I emailed them and they said they will draw a winner “soon” but if you buy a copy we will refund your money if you win lol Those dudes are sneaky!

But…I said it before, I’ll say it again…amazing software!

Tip for those blogging about it…if you link to the Market Samurai site…use a redirect and each time you blog about it point to the redirect file…that way when they implement an affiliate program you can change the redirect. I have some decent rankings and traffic from blogging about it just one time. I’ll likely post more on it and create a category just or it when I relaunch KeithJamesLock.com

  5. Well, I just purchased the full version and finally got my activation code. Guess it will prompt me when it’s ready for it because I don’t see anywhere you can enter it. Maybe that will be the day they start selling it at full price.

  6. Hey Keith, looks like you and I made the first page of Google for “market samurai”! Woo-hoo!

  8. @Jarret
    Bwahaha! :) I’m not crazy rich…yet!

  9. Me neither…

but I love Market Samurai and it will make me rich :)

How does this compare to using Micro Niche Finder?

Does it add better features or is it a tool that does a different job?

The difference is quite significant, actually. Despite the fact that I’ve had trouble with MNF for a while now, Market Samurai has options available that you won’t find in MNF. For example, it enables you to find content related to your keyword searches and you can analyze that content’s ranking, backlinks and other bits of info…all from within Market Samurai.

Additionally, you can save projects. Yes, MNF keeps your searches, but that’s all. I can create a project containing any number of keywords to help me categorize my work.

These are just a few of the things you can do with Market Samurai. There are others that aren’t even available yet as they continue to build the product.

Market Samurai easily beats out MNF, there is no competition. I didn’t buy the full version of Market Samurai yet, not sure if I will.

I bought MNF awhile ago and just recently they decided to start using Google’s search results. I just actually right now upgraded to the latest version 3.0.10. I have to say that I am really impressed, it is far quicker and I still have it set to the lowest setting as to avoid any temporary ban from Google.

Just tested out some keywords for one of my sites and was surprised to find some that have search volumes at almost twice the exact phrase count…… With this data, I am going to be using MNF along with Market Samurai.

I’ll find the good keywords in MNF and then test them out in Market Samurai. I like the simplicity of MNF compared to MS, but MS features and the info you can get from it give it a big advantage.

@Mark – thanks for that comparison, I may have to take a look at Market Samurai.

@Jarret – How did you upgrade to the latest version? I’ve not received any email as yet and checking for updates in MNF doesn’t bring any updates up.

    Cheers!

I had stayed away for a while since I heard that it was going to be great, but not complete yet. Im hearing good things now however, and with Brad Callen possibly going to a monthly fee for seo keyword elite, it may be time to switch!

Yes, they have a few portions of the tool that are still in development, but that just means this great tool will only be better. I use this thing regularly.

Thanks for commenting and welcome to MeAndMyDrum. :)

  16. Some days ago I bought Micro Niche Finder and I was really impressed with the feature set and also its simplicity. Just today I had a closer look on Market Samurai (right after reading many positive reviews like yours) and it looks like it’s even better than MNF.

Unfortunately I also heard other people saying that both tools aren’t too reliable because they are both based on Google’s Keyword tool, which often times gives incorrect search counts (since it’s primarly made for PPC research). Online services like Wordtracker etc. are often times recommended over MNF or MS because of showing more reliable results.

The question is, which tool can one trust? I personally don’t want to use and compare the output of 3 or 4 different keyword research tools at the same time, only to get the “right” idea on which niche to choose. I think a tool should be there to make one’s life easier.

So what’s your experience with using MS and finding profitable niches? Could it be used standalone or would I still need to check my keywords on other services like Wordtracker for example?

    Thank you,
    Peter

    • @Peter
All very good and common questions. I ask myself those questions, in fact. The thing is, that there is no one super tool to use. Personally, I’ve narrowed it down to Google’s keyword tool and Market Samurai. I do this mainly because I am just used to doing it that way and not because I’ve tapped into some hidden secrets (yet ;) ).

So all I can recommend is to just use what works for you and be open to trying the other tools every once in a while to compare and check on improvements.

Btw, thanks for taking the time to comment and welcome to MeAndMyDrum! :)
