Contest Roundup: You Don’t Want To Miss These

I announced my birthday blog contest last week and I’d say I’ve received a pretty good response thus far. It doesn’t end until February 20, so there’s plenty of time to enter.

Since then, I’ve learned about some great resources where I could advertise my contest. One of the things I like about some of the ones I submitted to is the speed in which they posted about it on their blogs. Plus, a couple of them took the time to come over here to leave a comment letting me know. Now that’s a personal touch I didn’t expect. My Blog Contest and Contest Hub were among the first.

Kontera In-Text Advertising
UPDATED: Matthew from Blog About Your Blog is promoting a contest that Kontera is putting on. The prize is everybody’s favorite: money! If you have the winning video, you get $500. Second prize, $250, and third, $100.

Blogging Gal
Then there’s Tish from Blogging Gal who is offering the winner a review of their blog in addition to prime advertising placement on her blog (just look for my drum and you’ll see what I mean). All you have to do is subscribe to her feed. What could be easier than that?

Another one run by Tish and partnering with Mike, 1,000 Entrecard credits stand in the balance along with a review of your blog on BWL. If you haven’t been there in a while, you’ll be pleased to see the things that have been done to the place in addition to getting to know other great bloggers.

UPDATED: I almost forgot! Bush Mackel is also putting on a contest to celebrate his blog’s birthday as well. He’s not telling what the prizes are, but he’s got a clever way to build up the mystery to it. Check out his post to find out more.
