Zeroes 2: A Heroes Parody

April 19, 2007

Just a few more days until Heroes is back. Instead of showing you the trailers you may be seeing for the show itself elsewhere on the Web, I thought you might be interested in a parody.

Even if you’re not a fan of the show, you’ll still get a kick out of watching this. I haven’t laughed this hard, well, since the first parody these guys came out with.

Barely…Holding…On…

April 9, 2007

Are you a fan of the Heroes TV show? Yes? So, how ya holdin’ up over the dry spell we’ve been having?

Ever since they went on hiatus last month I feel like Hiro looking to regain his power to control time. But alas, we still have two more weeks before they come back to save the world!

Have you heard of Linderman’s power? Spoilers abound, but if you can deal with that, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Zeroes: A Heroes Parody

March 5, 2007

Sometimes, among the filth and stupidity you find on YouTube, you come across a rather funny video clip. Here’s one that’s a parody of the hit TV series, Heroes. Where they have people with extraordinary abilities, this clip has people with pointless abilities. Pretty funny!

Everybody Needs A Hero

March 5, 2007

I’m a huge fan of the TV series Heroes. If you haven’t caught on to it, then I highly recommend you do this evening on NBC 8 p.m. CST.

It’s about mankind entering a new stage in their evolution, where people are discovering unique abilities that make them extraordinary. Some use their powers for good, others for evil.

Aside from the great storytelling this show has, I like that they don’t cram the special effects down your throat. The show, IMHO, succeeds in being believable. If they started out with people dressing up in hot-colored spandex like comic book heroes, I believe the show would have fallen on its face after two weeks.

No, this one takes its time, showing you just the right balance of super powers and story, revealing a little bit here and there and always keeping you longing for more. This isn’t like Lost, where they drag… out… their…. storrryyy… line.

Sites abound on the Internet paying homage to the show, like Heroes Revealed. If you’re into picking up spoilers, that’s the place for you. For me, knowing what’s going to happen ahead of time makes me all the more anxious to see it.

Here’s a sample:
