  • Birthday Contest: MeAndMyDrum Turns OneThe time has flown by so fast that it’s hard to believe that MeAndMyDrum saw the light of day this time last year; February 20, to be exact. Of all the years I’ve been blogging, this one year has, by far, been the most educational and entertaining.

    It has also given me the opportunity to meet some very talented people — people who have made me think, grow and laugh. For all of that I’m very thankful.

    So I’d like to celebrate the occasion with an easy-to-enter contest. Here’s how you can enter and increase your chances to win:

    1. 5 entries for subscribing to my feed via email. (Comment on this post using the same address so that I can verify.) Subscribed already? Thank you! Just tell me in the comments.
    2. 4 entries for making a post about the contest on your blog linking back to this post. If you have more than one blog, that’s cool — you’ll get 4 entries per post per blog (only one post on each blog will be counted; be sure to leave a comment here telling me so with the links).
    3. If you like my blog, you can tell others by writing a recommendation on my profile at Entrecard. Doing so earns you 4 entries.
    4. Commenting on this post earns you 1 entry (only one comment per contestant excluding the comments you make informing me of other posts you’ve made or for subscribing)

    What do you win?
    One person will win the following:

    • 1,000 Entrecard credits
    • A review of their blog on MeAndMyDrum

    And for the friend of the winner, I’ll write a review of their blog on Darn Good Reviews, another blog I own. And if my subscriptions increase to 300, I’ll give their friend 200 Entrecard credits.

    Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations fellow February Blogday Buddy! I’m with Brown, time sure does fly in the blogosphere and it’s great to see so many of us still around and it’s also great to see all the success you’ve had with your site and the many different looks it’s had over that time.
