A Review On Paid Post Sites – Last Batch

  • The rest of my reviews on paid-post sites covers a handful more. I decided to combine them since I only have brief comments to say about each.

Being a member of this one for a few months, I haven’t seen this one grow in the way of opportunities much — not much at all. I do like that they email me when they do have new opportunities. They also, within the past month I think, have allowed bloggers to add more than one blog to their account — a nice way to increase your money provided you commit to making unique content for each review.

    What I like

    • Being able to add more than one blog
    • Emails sent when new opportunities arise

    What I don’t like

    • Having to identify if I’m a blogger or advertiser every time I log in
    • Lack of choices to review
    • Inefficient use of space on their site

What happened with this one? When I signed up with them one of the requirements was for me to write a review with a link back to them. This was to make sure I understood how to do it.

Unlike the other services I’ve reviewed so far, you are given assignments instead of you choosing them. I’m fine with that, but I’m still waiting on those assignments.

I wish I could tell you more, but sadly, there isn’t any.

Another one that hasn’t seen much growth. They redesigned their site, which makes it look snazzy, but again, they’re a little short on opportunities. They had the same two for about, gosh, maybe two months!

What I find interesting though is on their dashboard they list the “top dog bloggers”. With only two opportunities to review, this list keeps changing. How is that possible?

Back when I wrote a review for the service, their CEO, Ulrik Thomsen, dropped by to comment on the post. He reassured bloggers that changes are coming. The site redesign came, but still waiting on opportunities to make some cash.

Almost not even worth mentioning. I signed up and never got a response.

If you like to review on breast implants, liposuction, plastic surgery, hotels and resorts, then this is the place for you. Can’t say much more than that.

    ReviewMeReviewMe
I was going to include this one in the “short on opportunities” category, but after logging in this morning I found two offers that I “may be interested in”, so say the ReviewMe guys. Admittedly, up until today, nothing has ever shown up.

I’ve read other blogs who have had success writing for this service, but always wondered why it wasn’t so for me. Guess it was a matter of time, but a word of advice and this goes for any service where you categorize your blog: if no opportunities are forthcoming, it could be that you should rework your blog description and category. Give it a shot for a while and if nothing happens, ask the service for tips.

Linkworth is another site that does payper post, and I have actually gotten several review offers from them, probably more than ReviewMe.
I know for most of these programs that blogs that have content in competitive niches tend to get more requests. My wife Lizzie has a weight Loss site, Fatladysinz.com, that has actually had to turn down quite a few requests.

I think I am going to take some time before I join any of the pay per post services.

I have bookmarked your post to come back at a later date though.

Hey buddy, I finally saw some opportunities recently on Review Me as well. Of course they weren’t even close to anything I’d consider writing about. I haven’t seen anything since.

What’s weird about that site is when my blog is set to active it shows absolutely nothing for the blog ranking or price, yet if I set it as inactive it shows a ranking and a price of $100. *shrug*

    • That is strange. I’m confused as well with them pricing one of my blogs and not the other. I’ll be adding that to my list of things to do this weekend.

Heh I haven’t logged in to all of those that I’m a member of for at least 2 weeks now. If the pr update doesn’t happen soon, I might start taking opportunities again

    • Well, here I thought the PR update came and went and didn’t so much as wink at me. So maybe there’s still hope. Glad to see Alexa waking up this week. Finally broke the 100K barrier. Woo-hoo!

Although it seems like they’ve changed their update schedule. Usually it’s twice a week, but it’s only once so far.

I think Alexa changed their ranking algorithm when they released their toolbar. They’re probably still tweaking it. Congrats on breaking 100K! Next stop, the top 50K

Hi. My blog is fairly new. I hadn’t considered paid posts, but I keep reading about them. Can I assume that for new blogs it is better to forget about paid posts and just concentrate on establishing yourself?

    • Hi Stephen, well, it depends on who you sign-up with. Most of them like established blogs. For example, PPP requires a blog be alive for 90 days minimum. Other service may require other factors. I’d recommend checking out the ones you’re interested in and see where that takes you.

      Thanks for dropping by! :)

    Hey Mark,

Just wanted to add my 2 cents worth here. I think my fave of all these sites by far is ReviewMe. At this time, I’ve earned $100 with this site alone. Granted it’s taken me about 3 months, but that’s not too bad.

I’ve signed up with most of the others, but I have to say that ReviewMe is my all time favorite.

    Just my opinion.

    Have a great day.

    • Hi there, actually, it’s very timely you mention this as I think they may become my favorite soon as well. I was encourage to find that MAMD was FINALLY accepted (something was wrong with it not being in the right marketplace or something like that). But the cool thing is they said the suggested default price for a review would $100 — that’s my cut. Sweeeet. ;)

  8. Hey this is really interesting. so far i have read blogs on positives of these sites. here am seeing good comments put in a casual way. fine stuff

    • Thank you for your kind words, Pervara, and for commenting. I always appreciate seeing new people making stops here. Please do return! :)
