5 Strengths I Have As A Writer
-
I was tagged quite some time ago by Mike to write about five strengths I have as a writer. So here we go!- No matter what I write or where I write it, my main goal is to make sure my point is clear. Nothing frustrates me more than to read something and go “Huh?” So clarity is something I strive for.
- I also try to provide a balance between entertainment and education for my readers. Fun + information = repeat visitors who are happy.
- Flexibility, both in the range of topics I cover here and elsewhere, and the way I write them. Sometimes, it’s professional and to the point, other times it’s about writing passionately on something that needs to be addressed where I try to motivate readers to take action even if it’s just to get them to think about something in a way they haven’t before. And still other times, there’s a healthy dose of light-hearted humor.
- Restraint — even when I disagree with something or someone, I try to be respectful in what I write. I won’t be politically correct, but I will attempt to convey my point without being a jerk about it.
- Lastly, writing is something I enjoy. Years ago I toyed with the idea of writing books for children. It’s crossed my mind a number of times since then, but I feel blogging has helped to satisfy that desire for now.

You know Mark, I hear that writing kids books are ridiculously successful. And good list. Too bad you couldn’t add cool headers to the list. (#):)
